Your Guide to
Austin, TX Travel Secrets

Austin, TX travel secrets are too numerous to list. From a genuine old time custard cone at Sandy's Frozen Custard -- (512) 478-6322; 603 Barton Springs Rd. -- to the intimate up close concerts at the Cactus Cafe.

I'm Barbara Yarnell and this is my web site. I also own InvisibleWeightLoss.com and am the author of the popular book, Cure Diet Disease With Invisible Weight Loss. I produced a multiple Emmy Award winning food documentary. I'm a native Texan and have lived, worked and played in Austin for more than 25 years.

I live here. I eat at the restaurants, hike the trails, drive the roads, golf the links, fish the lakes, party at the clubs, attend events and festivals. I'm familiar with all things Austin.

In my humble "homer" opinion, Austin is the best kept secret in America. UT Football, lakes, parks, museums, fishing, horseback riding, music, canoeing, shopping, festivals, food, art, theater and the best golf in America.

My goal for this website is to offer you an insider's view of Austin. Reveal its many secrets and little known gems. To assist you as best I can in having the best time possible when you're here.

Send your Austin travel questions to "Contact Me". I answer promptly.

Thanks for reading!

Yours,

Barbara
