The rooms are very comfortable, clean with contemporary if not inspiring decor. Twenty-seven inch TV with cable and premium channels. Internet access and many other in-room amenities.
Rooms are not fit for a king but a weary traveler would
have no complaints at the Embassy Suites Austin Central.
Swimming pool, 24 hour fitness room, airport shuttle, tropical ten story atrium, complimentary cooked to order breakfast and free managers reception drinks and snacks. For lunch and dinner, the Lynx Steakhouse & Lounge. This hotel's staff and service exceeds most Embassy Suites I've stayed at. And the renovation works well. It's not a patch and band-aide job, but a real make-over. I can't imagine people not liking this hotel. There's just nothing to dislike about it. Most know what to expect from an Embassy. This one is no different. However, the staff and renovation makes a noticeable difference. Plus the breakfast is not only free, but quite tasty and filling. Not a great hotel. But a very, very good one. LOCATION: Twenty-six miles north of Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Three and a half miles from downtown Austin. On the SE corner of IH-35 and Hwy. 290 East.
