Fresh and airy. This hotel delivers Hyatt quality in a laid back homey style. Located on the IH-35 corridor, five miles north of the State Capitol, three miles north of the UT campus. You're close to all of downtown Austin's attractions.

However, getting there can be a challenge in peak traffic or if you aren't familiar with the area.

Check their web site for a map you can download with good driving instructions. I urge you to use it and avoid wasted time and hassle.

I have no other concerns about this hotel. At mid-level rates, it is a great value. At discounted rates, it's an all-world bargain.

immaculate, comfortable with a contemporary flair.

Where else do you get a state of the art media center that includes a 42 inch flat screen HDTV? Movies, games, music and 11 high definition channels.

Wi-Fi and high speed DSL Internet access, two great double beds, sleeper sofa, dataport, coffeemaker. Free parking and complimentary continental breakfast, fitness center and outdoor pool.

On top of all this you get great service from a staff that is knowledgeable, caring and courteous.

The Hyatt Place Austin is an exceptional value compared to many Austin hotels in this price range.

What I liked best was feeling like I was the only guest. Not crowded. Not hurried. A home away from home experience.

I recommend the Hyatt Place Austin because they deserve it. Nice place, nice stay, a good time.
