Marriott Airport is six miles from
the airport and kind of crazy to get to.

A typical small Marriott. Except this location has some quirky access issues. Check their web site for directions on getting to the hotel.

Parking is free and the hotel is in a very un-scenic part of town right off IH-35.

Ask for a room facing away from the freeway. There's still no view but it's much quieter.

Those are my only complaints. The rooms are 100% Marriott. Not spectacular, but not chip and dent either.

Every time I stay at a Marriott it amazes me how its sameness has a calming and reassuring affect on me.

If a steakhouse or barbecue chain restaurant could achieve the level of consistent quality Marriott does, they would whup McDonald's.

Rooms have comfy beds, premium
channel satellite TV, coffeemaker.

Indoor pool, business center, fitness center, full service restaurant.

Small, limited amenities, great service at a reasonable rate. Breakfast buffet is $12. Worth it if you have a lumberjack's appetite.

Clean, comfortable and service is efficient and attentive. Put Marriott Austin Airport in the scenic Hill Country and you would have a three star hotel instead of only two.

I like everything about the hotel except the location.
