Top of the Mark no more. They've improved the talent booking considerably in my opinion. The switch from trendy to singer-songwriter has been obvious and welcome. Like virtually all Austin clubs, they have drawbacks and good points.

The cover charge is $5 and up. Drinks aren't superior but on the pricey side. The room is kinda strange but has charm once you get use to it. You're never more than a short few steps to the bar or bathroom from anywhere in the club.

Besides quality talent that's above average for Austin clubs, their patio is really unique.

The Patio Rooftop bar hasn't reached local legend status yet, but it's headed in the right direction.

The crowd here depends on the artist. Folks range from the early 20s to older and grey headed.

A SXSW host club and you can expect the best of Texas music to be played here in the future.

They've made a commitment to getting it right. Let's hope they do. I like this club.
