I feel a special connection to this hotel. I've received scandalously low rates from on-line services for this hotel.

Location and old school charm of a basic hotel make the Sheraton irresistible as a downtown Austin hotel option. Close to all the action, but tucked away enough to allow you a quiet night's sleep.

There is nothing superior about this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Similar to 10,000 other Sheraton quest rooms.

I recommend a corner king at Sheraton Austin
Hotel, the view of the city at night is incredible.

Usually I prefer Hilton and Marriott to Sheraton. And Weston and Four Seasons to any chain hotel. But this hotel has a been-there-done-that quality and friendliness that words can't describe.

Again, get a good rate, reserve without high expectations and you will probably feel good about your stay.

Great location for UT game weekends, weekend Capitol sight seeing and this downtown Austin hotel really shines as a comfy space to spend the day after a night of too much music, food and fun.

I like simple. I like this old time hotel.

One thing about it, Sheraton likes orange.
